Symphony of Westchester’s 21st Season opens with Pianist Goldstein

ianist Alon Goldstein will open the Symphony of Westchester’s 21st concert season at Iona College on Sat., Nov. 4, with a performance of Beethoven’s Egmont Overture.

    The all-Beethoven program, at 8:00 p.m., also includes Symphony no. 4, op. 60, in B major.    

    Goldstein, who last performed with the Symphony in 2015, has also appeared with the London Philharmonic, the Vermont and Santa Barbara symphonies and at recitals and concerts in Beijing, Guatemala City, Kent (UK), Chicago, Los Angeles, Coral Gables, Seattle, St. Paul, Jerusalem, Tel Aviv and Paris, among others.

   

    All concerts are at Iona’s Christopher J. Murphy Auditorium, 715 North Ave., New Rochelle.

Ticket prices are $50 general admission, $35 seniors (65+) and $15 students.
