FIRST Annual Open Juried Show
“The Intricate Mind” is the theme.

Entry Deadline: September 15, 2017
Mediums: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Graphics/Digital, Mixed Media & Photography
Awards: First, Second Third Place & HM Ribbons
Opening Reception: Sunday, October 1, 2017 from 2PM-5PM
Open to all artist 18 years and older. Artist may submit up to 3 pieces. All work must be suitably framed, minimum 1.5” gallery wrapped canvas acceptable, wired (sawtooth hooks will not be accepted at delivery) and ready to hang. All work must be finished and completely dried. Size of work must not exceed 36” x 36” inclusive of outside edge of frame. Triptychs (all three parts) should keep within the size parameter requirement. All work must be hand delivered, unpacked & cannot exceed 100lbs

Entry Fee: 
Members $20.00 for up to 3 pieces. 
Non­members $35.00 for up to 3 entries. 
Anyone whose dues were not paid for the year 2017/2018 is 
considered a non­member. 
Payment is by PayPal or Credit Card on our website
Payment is due by entry deadline (September 15). 
Payment does NOT guarantee acceptance and is non refundable.

Image should be no larger than 1024W x 768H pixels at 72dpi, RGB color mode and saved as a jpeg. 
In the body of the email, please list all the submitted work with corresponding numbers, title, medium, size, category and price. (Please use these category options only: Oil, Acrylic, Watercolor, Pastel, Graphics/Digital, Mixed Media & Photography) the email entry must also include your contact information

Removal of Work: 
Work must be picked up Sunday October 29, 10am-2pm. Work not removed by 2 pm will be charged a $5.00 per day storage fee to the Bronxville Woman’s Club. Work must remain on display for the duration of the exhibition, early removal will not be allowed. 


Entries will be handled with all possible care. Since works will not be insured neither Got Art or the Bronxville Women’s Club or their employees will be responsible for loss or damage to any work submitted for any cause. Submitting an entry to this exhibition constitutes an agreement with all conditions of this exhibition and prospectus. Got Art assumes the right to photograph and use accepted works for documentation or publicity purpose. 
Got Art reserves the right to refuse any work that does not meet the Theme or requirements, does not appear as it’s photo entry, is not wired properly, or is delivered late. No substitutes will be accepted. No Refunds of Entry Fees.
A commission of 20% will be charged on all sales generated through the exhibition. All works must be priced accordingly or marked “Not for Sale” (NFS). No “Price On Request “(POR) works will be accepted.

Judge & BIO: 
     LISA POST is an award winning graphic designer, fine artist and art curator. She is a magna cum laude graduate of The New York Institute of Technology, graduating with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Design Graphics, and winning a Gold Medal in Design Graphics from the school. While working as a graphic designer for a division of Ogilvy and Mather Worldwide, her work for clients such as G.P. Putnam's Sons, Random House, Simon & Schuster, Alfred A. Knopf, and Crown Publishers, had appeared in magazines and newspapers, including The New York Times, The New Yorker, Publisher's Weekly, Vanity Fair, TV Guide, The Los Angeles Times, Vogue, GQ and numerous other publications. Her freelance clients have included The City of New Rochelle, Family Services of Westchester, New Rochelle Art Association, The New Rochelle Council on the Arts, The City of Yonkers, New York Institute of Technology, Kings Harbor Multicare Center and Lawrence Nursing Care Center. She has also created ads, logos, business cards, journals, posters, and invitations for various private and public clients.
She is a current member of the New Rochelle Art Association and a former member of the New Rochelle Council on the Arts and Mamaroneck Artists Guild. As a fine artist working in several mediums; photographer and digital artist, she exhibits nationally. She has won many awards for her work and has sold many pieces in her few years as an exhibiting artist. Artwork of hers is hanging in the City Hall Office of the Mayor of New Rochelle, a digital art piece was published in the 2008 calendar for the city, and photos published in the county-wide 2009 and 2012 Westchester Town Planner calendar. She completed a commission by the City of Yonkers for its Waterfront Revitalization project, has two photos in the International Library of Photography, and was a participant in the Tree Project of the International Fiber Collaborative, which is on permanent display in the Earlyworks Children's Museum in Alabama.
Since 2012 Lisa is also an art curator, curating several highly successful shows in Westchester and the Bronx, with upcoming shows in New Rochelle, NY. She also is the Social Media Manager/Publicist for a large nursing home in the Bronx, creating and running their Facebook page, along with writing and securing ongoing articles in local newspapers and features on local tv stations.
